Card Feed Issues
- Run a self test to check functionality of the printer
- Update the printer firmware and driver
- Run a cleaning cycle
- Check for static build up on cards
- Ensure you are using the correct power supply
- Check card feeder for damage
Ribbon Breaking
- Ensure the correct ribbon type is set in the driver
- Run a cleaning cycle
- Run a self test to check functionality of the printer
- Update the printer firmware and driver
- Run a self adjustment
- Make offset adjustments by using commands
- Try different card stock
Card Jams
- Run a cleaning cycle
- Run a self test to check functionality of the printer
- Update the printer firmware and driver

Won’t Communicate
- Ensure that your printer is turned on and plugged into your computer
- Check to make sure the USB port on the printer is not loose or broken
- Try a different USB cable
- Try a different USB port
- Make sure that there is not a print job stuck in the print queue
- Try a different computer
- Verify that you are using the correct power supply
Mag Encoding Issues
- Ensure the cards are in the correct orientation
- Update the printer firmware and driver
- Ensure the correct coercivity is selected in the driver
- Test the mag encoder thru the driver
